The number 61 of the Gráfica Magazine –International Art brings great names of the national and international graphic design, illustrations and humor drawings and our Honorable Humor’s Embasador, Cau Gomez, is in the spotlight. His drawings are in the beginning of the magazine, eleven pages portraying beautiful drawings: cartoons and awarded caricatures and some drawings shown for the first time. For those who follow Cau’s career, this a great opportunity of buying this edition.
Humor painting
In 2002, a Bulgarian naturalized Brazilian, Konstantin Cristoff, doctor, cartoonist and painter, released a “Manifest to Cartoonists” and he questioned the lack of humor in paintings. He also spoke of the importance of humor and mentioned that humor can fill in all spaces. Kostantim, in his manifest, invited all cartoonists to paint. Cau Gomez used to do so before the manifest. He already put irreverence and criticism, a soft and intelligent humor in his paintings. Those who follow the work of Cau, know that even without audio, we can hear the scream of humor sounding around. He draws freely, without sticking to the strict existing rules. He listens to the talent that is in the arms of a divine inspiration. Where does all of this come from? This originality that mesmerizes the audience?

This edition is surprising! It is impossible to open this magazine and not save some time for each drawing. The special choice of the printed works and the soft visual programing were veru important to draw the attention of a demanding audience.
